I absolutely love creating fused glass pocket hearts—each one is a tiny symbol of love, hope, and kindness. Over the years, I’ve written numerous blog posts about the hearts I’ve created, gifted, and donated. Recently, I decided to donate a large batch of hearts to a truly deserving group of individuals who are doing amazing work. Initially, I thought I had enough on hand, but I soon realized I was about 100 short! So, for nearly a month, I dedicated myself to replenishing my supply—working tirelessly until I reached a total of 250 beautiful hearts. Each heart was crafted with intention and care, using a variety of colors, textures, and designs. No two are exactly alike, which makes them even more meaningful.

To make each heart feel even more personal, I also designed brand-new cards to go with them. I added little squares of double-sided foam tape, laid out all the cards, and carefully attached the hearts one by one. It was a labor of love, and I think the finished presentation makes each piece feel extra special—a true pocket hug.

Once I was sure I had enough hearts, I tucked each one into a little organza bag, carefully boxed them up, and added a heartfelt thank-you note. Every step of the process was done with love and care. My hope is that when each recipient opens their package, they not only see the beauty of the fused glass heart but also feel truly seen, supported, and appreciated.

This project was never just about creating beautiful glass—it was about honoring the people who show up with courage and commitment every single day. Each fused glass heart was my way of saying thank you—for the sacrifices they make, the compassion they offer, and the strength they bring to their work. Tucked in their little organza bags, these hearts carry not just color and light, but a deep appreciation for their service. My hope is that when each person opens their package, they’ll feel that gratitude radiate through—knowing they are valued, respected, and loved.
