In my last post I wrote about my new fused glass night lights. Another of my favorite things to make is fused glass candle shields. I make them the same way, but instead of plugging them in as a night light, they can sit anywhere and light up. Again, they are beautiful functional art. Here some colorful modern candle shields. I love how colorful they are.
Just like my fused glass night lights I also made some flower vase candle bases. However, I haven’t finished them, because I can’t decide if they should be candle-shields or night lights. What do you think I should make with them?
These candle shields are so perfect for gifts. BTW did you know a candle shield can be used as a vase as well, just by adding a flower frog. Aren’t they beautiful!!
I love the top row, so colorful. The bottom row candle shields were made previously, and I decided to make them into candle shields.
