⨠Why I Love Making Fused Glass Hearts! Fused glass hearts have always held a special place in my studio. Iāve written about them before, but every time I sit down to create a new batch, Iām reminded why I enjoy them so much. Hearts are universalāthey symbolize love, connection, friendship, support, remembrance, and sometimes healing. Whether theyāre tiny pocket hearts or larger decorative ones, each little piece carries meaning far beyond the glass itself. Below are some of my casted hearts I created in every color.

š Hearts for Families with Loved Ones on the Autism Spectrum. One of the most meaningful groups of hearts I make are the ones created for families with loved ones on the autism spectrum. These hearts often feature calming colors, soothing swirls, and gentle patterns that reflect uniqueness and individualityājust like the people they honor. I love making them because they serve as a quiet reminder that every person on the spectrum brings something beautiful and irreplaceable to the world. Whether gifted to parents, caregivers, teachers, or the individuals themselves, these hearts symbolize understanding, acceptance, and unconditional love.

šļø Hearts Inspired by Breast Cancer Journeys. Another special series I create are hearts inspired by breast cancer awareness and support. As someone who has walked that path, these pieces are deeply personal to me. I often design them in pinks, soft neutrals, and textures that feel strong yet delicateāmuch like the people enduring treatment or supporting someone they love. These hearts are often given as gifts of hope, courage, and solidarity. They honor survivors, remember those weāve lost, and support the warriors who are still fighting. It means the world to me when someone chooses one of my hearts to mark such an emotional milestone.

I also created a few hearts with lots of texture, perfect for people who enjoy tactile pocket charms. These textured hearts are so soothing to holdāeach ridge, curve, and raised detail adds an extra layer of comfort and connection.

These three hearts each carry a little extra inspiration. One features the decal āembrace life,ā another has a sweet angel, and the third showcases three little heartsāsimple, meaningful reminders that make these pieces especially heartfelt and encouraging.

This next group of hearts is where things get truly whimsicalātiny surprises tucked inside a swirl of glass! If you look closely, youāll spot little bubbles drifting upward and adorable fish swimming around inside the heart. Itās like a miniature underwater world captured in glass! How fun is that?

Creating fused glass hearts always fills me with so much joy. Each one carries its own meaningāsupport, love, courage, remembrance, or simply a playful moment of happinessāand Iām honored every time someone finds a heart that speaks to them. Whether itās for a loved one on the spectrum, a breast cancer warrior or survivor, someone who needs a tactile comfort charm, or a friend who could use a little encouragement, these hearts are tiny pieces of art with big purpose.
