With Spring just around the corner, I felt inspired to create some fused glass flowers. I had these pieces sitting in my studio for quite some time, just waiting for the right idea to come along. Finally, it clicked—why not turn them into something bright and cheerful? Once I shaped them into flowers, I added dichroic cabochons to the centers, which really brought each piece to life with a touch of sparkle and depth. All of these flowers were made using the same basic technique, but as always with glass, each one developed its own unique personality. ✨

These next two flowers were created using the same technique—draping the glass and adding cabochons—but each one has its own unique look and personality. I love how the flowing shape of the glass gives them a natural, almost petal-like movement. These are a bit longer stemmed, which will make them perfect for adding a pop of color and interest out in the yard. I can already imagine how beautiful they’ll look catching the sunlight and brightening up the garden. ✨

These next three flowers are a little more unique, and that’s exactly what I love about them. Each one has its own personality—from the bold, vibrant colors to the different shapes and textures, they really stand out as individual pieces. I enjoy experimenting like this, letting the glass do its thing and seeing how each flower evolves in its own way. They may be different, but together they create a fun, eye-catching collection that really celebrates the creativity and unpredictability of fused glass. ✨

All of the flowers above were created with the garden in mind, but these two were just too beautiful to send outside. Instead, I decided to turn them into stands so I could keep them right in my inspiration room. I love how they’ve become little pieces of art I can enjoy every day—the colors, textures, and unique shapes really draw your eye in. Sometimes a piece turns out so special, you just want to keep it close, and these definitely earned their place indoors. ✨

Creating these fused glass flowers has been such a fun and rewarding experience, and it’s really sparked my imagination for what’s next. I love how each one turned out a little different, with its own personality and style. Now I’m already thinking bigger—larger flowers, bolder designs, and even more ways to let the glass flow and take shape. That’s the beauty of fused glass; there’s always something new to try and explore. I can’t wait to see what blooms next! ✨
