I’ve mentioned it several times — I love making fused glass stirrers. The ones on the left feature decals (aren’t they cute?), and the others were created using various pieces of glass. Stirrers are perfect for mixing tea, coffee, and even cocktails, adding a little handmade charm to everyday drinks. The key thing to remember is to avoid thermal shock — don’t place a stirrer into something hot and then immediately into something cold, or vice versa. A little care keeps these fun pieces lasting a long time.

Here’s another set that I wanted to talk about a bit more. The first two stirrers feature confetti and stringer. The first one uses just confetti glass, while the second combines a layer of dichroic glass topped with a piece of confetti glass — giving it extra sparkle and depth. The bottom two stirrers are made with dichroic glass as well. One has a clear glass cap over the dichroic layer, and the other is left without a cap, allowing the dichroic surface to really shine. I love how small design choices can create such different looks.

In addition to stirrers, I also added glass to some cute little spoons that are perfect for coffee and tea. They’re a fun way to bring a little sparkle to everyday moments. And let’s be honest — everything is better with glass!

Making fused glass stirrers and spoons is one of those projects that brings me so much joy. They’re small, functional, and full of personality — little pieces of art that get used and appreciated every day. I love experimenting with different glass combinations, colors, and techniques, and it’s always fun to see how each new batch turns out. Whether they’re stirring morning coffee, afternoon tea, or an evening cocktail, these pieces are a reminder that everyday routines can be made a little more special with handmade glass.
